Bing Song is the head of Federation for the China franchise and is the deputy general manager of Beijing Gao Hua Securities Company Limited. She serves on the China Operating Committee. Previously, Bing was the chief legal officer for the firm’s China franchise. She joined Goldman Sachs in 2005 and was named managing director in 2007.

Prior to joining the firm, Bing was a vice president in the Legal Department of Deutsche Bank from 2003 to 2005, and worked for two US law firms from 1997 to 2003. Earlier in her career, she worked on public policy and public interest law projects relating to Chinese judicial reforms. Bing serves as the chair of the Board of Trustees for Dulwich College of Beijing. Bing earned a BA in Law from Beijing University, an MLitt in International Relations from Oxford University and an LLM in Trade Regulations from the New York University School of Law. She was admitted to the New York Bar in 1997.

Kitty Vorisek serves as Executive Vice President in the firm’s Beijing office. She joined to start the Beijing office and provide executive search in Beijing, China. With her experience in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability, she also launched the nonprofit practice for DHR International in Asia Pacific. Kitty has consulted on projects for the WHO-Healthy Cities and Road Safety China pilot, World Bank, Working Mother Media and Diversity Best Practices, International Meetings, Stanford ValuEd and Duke University for DukeEngage.

She has a track record in financial services with over 25 years in China, Hungary, Netherlands, Germany and America. Using her in-depth knowledge of diverse markets gained working with state-owned institutions and multi-national corporations, she developed strategies and tactics that enabled substantial increases in revenue and client satisfaction. She has introduced unique methods for development and retention of local talent and performance coaching of leadership teams, resulting in initiatives that improved business operations.

As Business Manager at JP Morgan, China, she worked on the strategic plan and foundation for a business as well as corporate social responsibility models to support the brand. She implemented issue-driven programs with schools and nonprofit organizations. In adherence to the Chinese government’s priorities, she developed and executed programs with a provincial education bureau that introduced new teaching methods for rural teachers. She then replicated the model to use with migrant school teachers.

Kitty received the “Exemplary Contributor to Promoting International Education Award” nominated by the International School of Beijing and awarded by the European Council of International Schools. She serves as advisor to the Dandelion Middle School, Beijing.

May Xue is the CEO of Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (UCCA). May Xue oversees UCCA operation, continuous development, strategy planning and formulate development direction of UCCA. May Xue joined UCCA as Director of UCCASTORE in 2009. In the past 3 years, she has been instrumental in revamping the UCCASTORE design and operations, and taking the retail and online store to a higher level. Under her professional guidance and outstanding leadership, UCCASTORE has become a leading and widely-emulated art store, not only in China but also around the globe.

Prior to joining UCCA, May Xue held leadership positions in many different fields, including luxury private event planning and management, sales and marketing, public relations, operations, retail management and general management, at high-profile organizations such as the Capital Club, Cartier and the exclusive City Club on Bunker Hill, Los Angeles. Her deep involvement in the contemporary art scene, role as organizer of the 2008 CCA (Chinese Contemporary Award), and vast experience in public relations on behalf of many talented artists and collectors is a tremendous asset to her current position as the CEO of UCCA. In addition, May Xue’s international experience, strong English communication skills and study of German at the Goethe Institute make her a truly globally-minded executive. In her position as CEO, May Xue brings over 15 years of expertise in general management and development skills to strengthen the future of UCCA.

Sharon Ruwart is Director of Corporate Affairs, Asia Pacific for Mars, Incorporated, whose brands include M&Ms,Snickers, Pedigree, Whiskas, Extra, Orbit, Royal Canin and many other iconic confectionary and pet food products. Her responsibilities include corporate positioning, stakeholder relations, industry advocacy and crisis communications for Mars in the APAC region.

Prior to joining Mars in 2010, Sharon was Managing Director, Beijing for APCO Worldwide, a global public affairs consultancy with a long history in China and Asia. She consulted for a range of clients helping them develop comprehensive government relations, communications and CSR strategies for China.

Before APCO, Sharon served as China Managing Director for Elsevier Science & Technology, the world’s largest provider of scientific information. Her background is in managing large information-based products and services. She holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BA from Yale University.
