Kari Roe, Director Product Management, Marketplace at Amazon China Kari first studied in China 20 years ago in Shanghai and has spent the last three years working with Amazon China in Beijing launching the platform to allow merchants to sell on Amazon and developing the seller business. She has worked at Amazon for 8 years and previously worked at Time Warner in brand management and as a consultant at Booz Allen. Kari has an MBA from Columbia Business School and studied at the Hopkins- Nanjing Center.Shanlenn Colby, Senior Manager, Windows Business Group at Microsoft Greater China

Shanlenn is a Senior Manager at Microsoft, where she has worked for 7 years in roles spanning strategy, product management and go-to-market in both the US and China. Previously, she has worked at the US Embassy in Beijing as a tech and telecom policy specialist and as a management consultant at The Parthenon Group in Boston. Shanlenn holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Brown University. She lives in Beijing with her husband and two kids, aged 4 and 1.

Stella Ye, Head of Channel Planning and Forecasting, Greater China at Apple
Stella is the Head of Sales Planning and Forecasting at Apple Greater China. She has been taking various roles in Apple, e.g., education marketing program management, sales operation, etc. Before Apple, she was a consultant in McKinsey & Co. in Beijing, and then worked in Motorola on mobile strategy planning in the US. Stella holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from UIBE in Beijing. She lives in Beijing with her husband and two kids, aged 8 and 4.

Kity Vorisek, Executive Vice President at DHR China

Kitty Vorisek is the Executive Vice President in DHR China’s Beijing offices, which she joined to start the Beijing office and provide executive search in Beijing, China. With her experience in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability, she also launched the nonprofit practice for DHR International in Asia Pacific. She has consulted on numerous non-profit and government projects, and is frequently cited in the media on her work in China and women’s professional development. She resides in Beijing with her husband and two children.

Meagan Dietz, director of international business development at Godiva, shared ‘Launching Luxury in China’ — a talk and Q&A session with great insight, and mouthfuls of Godiva luxury chocolates. The morning at Milly’s Cakes found 85 Broads attendees alert with intrigue, not to mention the indulgence of coffee and chocolates.
